Workshop Letterings and Ornaments by BolaTattoo

Duration: 10:00 to 18:00 with lunch break.

Content: Knowledge and construction of Artistic Calligraphy and Letterings for tattoo and other segments.

The workshop begins with studies on the entire base of Calligraphy and Lettering, teaching about the types of materials used for their practices, as well as customizations. Subsequently, there is the introduction of Letterings for tattoo. Exemplifying how the construction of a project occurs, with the freehand technique, using the body anatomy of the area where it will be tattooed.

Practice: Exercises for memorization through repetition, observation for self-criticism and improvement of studies.

Ornaments: Types and origin of flourishes and construction methods from spirals and their anatomy.

Suggested time: start at 10 a.m., with lunch break at 12 p.m., return at 2 p.m. and end at 6 p.m.

Live Tattooing: Among the workshop participants, a tattoo will be drawn to be performed during the previously established time. It should be of medium size and last between an hour and a half to two hours in its procedure.

Roundtable Talk: At the end of the workshop, types and methods of creating and building Abstract Calligraphy will be discussed, as well as their use in painting furniture, walls and clothing.

Teaching materials included:

- Workbook with examples and exercises

- Workshop certificate

- Study group on WhatsApp for 30 days, to ask questions and follow up on materials

Other materials and structure provided by the workshop organizer:

- Cardboard or Kraft paper and sheets of bond paper.

- Tables and chairs to accommodate participants.

- Coffee break.
